I looked at my old elementary school, Lakemont Elementary School's and looked at what information teachers shared. The website includes classroom reviews, teacher introductions, contact information, and school supply lists. These pages can help parents find all the information before the new school year. Having this information available online makes it easy for families to stay organized and communicate with the teachers. As a future teacher, I would like my class page to be frequently updated so that parents and students have quick access.

As a future teacher I want to use technology to make my responsibilities more organized. I would use Google Docs and Google Drive to create, store, and organize lesson plans. I would use Canvas to organize course work, communicate with my students, and share homework. These tools would save time, help make things more organized and have easier access to information. I think technology would help me spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time focusing on my students.

Working on assignment 2: Critical Evaluation helped me understand both the benefits and limitations of using AI to make a lesson plan. AI can help with making collaborative activities, learning objectives, and suggest materials. I learned from this assignment that an effective lesson plan must have specific goals, activities that help achieve those goals, appropriate assessments, and chances for students to actively engage in their education. I also learned from evaluating an AI-generated lesson plan that teachers must examine, edit, and modify the content to make sure it satisfies academic requirements. Collaborating with students and exchanging ideas was made possible by the Canvas group tool, however when group members have varying schedules, it can be difficult sometimes to coordinate everyone's contributions and maintain contact. I would use Google Docs for collaborative work because that way everyone can work on the same assignment and level comments. This assignment overall helped me see that AI and collaborative technology can be useful teaching tools.
